Leah's Story

I'm five years old, and I've just been blown away by my first Broadway show. Well, not exactly Broadway. More like my grandfather's community theatre production of The Pajama Game. Undeterred by the facts, I performed "Hey There" for my adoring crowd of stuffed animals for weeks on end. Since then, my love for theatre continues to deepen as I grow and learn from this beautiful community each day. Incredibly thankful to have graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Maryland-College Park in Spring 2023, as a proud recipient of the CAPA (Creative & Performing Arts) Scholarship, with dual degrees in Theatre Performance & Communications. Forever inspired by my Poppy, who made his granddaughter believe in the magic of theatre...and that he was a Broadway actor.
