Meet Leah!

Hello and welcome! This past year, I graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a dual degree in theatre & communications. Now....it's time to #adult!

Besides performance, I currently work in arts administration & casting at The John F. Kennedy Center and as a Teaching Assistant at Imagination Stage. Additional skills and experience in social media marketing and creative/analytical writing.

All this to say, I bring boundless energy, optimism and dedication to any establishment or performance I represent! Excited to meet and work with you.

Performer

My love for the arts began in preschool, when my grandfather would show me his community theatre productions in his basement every time I visited, and we would dance to the music together. Since then, I have performed in an array of productions and educational experiences- ranging from stage to screen...and of course, Zoom. I am an exceptionally dedicated hard worker and actress with pure love of the craft.

Writer

Besides my love of performance, I also specialize in creative and analytical writing. I've worked as a student contributor for Broadway World and currently manage @kennedycentertya on Instagram, the Kennedy Center's page for TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences)! Writing helps me tell stories both on and off the stage.

Content Creator

A career accomplishment I am beyond proud of is the creation of Because I Said So, a mother/daughter Youtube cooking channel. I manage the creation, filming, editing and marketing of this weekly show, and we have been featured in numerous local magazines and podcasts. Because I Said So ties together my love of performance, writing and social media skills. Direct business inquiries for BISS to: becauseisaid1725@gmail.com
